On November 27th, the HP Leaders Gala was held at the “Pałac Prymasowski” in Warsaw. Lumena was recognized as a 2008 HP Leader in terms of turnover in three categories and became the most awarded company of HP Leaders Gala 2008.
In early May this year, Lumena was granted Certificate of Management System certifying that the Company sells IT products and services and designs own IT solutions following its Internal Control System (ICS) requirements in compliance with PN-N-19001:2006 standard.
From 26 February to 5 March 2008, Novell and Lumena SA held a cycle of presentations introducing software solutions for automated desktop configuration management and control over the use and endpoint protection of corporate IT resources.
Lumena SA closed last year with a net revenue in excess of PLN 235 million, PLN 10 million above the turnover figure planned by the Management Board for 2007. Its revenue growth rate increased by 57 percent year-on-year, which is more than double the average for Poland’s entire IT market. The company’s management estimate profit at PLN 4.5 million, which means an increase of 300 percent over 2006.
Lumena SA closed the first three quarters of 2007 with a net revenue of PLN 123.7 million, effectively doubling its results from the first three quarters of 2006; net profit was PLN 1.9 million. In accordance with the company’s plans, the share of services in its revenue increased to 20%, with products and services from Cisco Systems and Oracle making up 11% and 6.5% of all sales, respectively.
On 5-8 September 2007, XVII Economic Forum was held in Krynica with Lumena S.A. as the IT Partner.
As part of collaboration in organising the Economic Forum, Lumena provided a comprehensive IT base for the participants of this prestigious event – already for the fourth time.
On April 19, 2007, Lumena s-ka z o.o. (limited liability partnership) was transformed into a joint stock company by a decision of the District Court for the city of Warsaw. Plans for the transformation were approved by the General Assembly of Lumena’s Partners back in November 2006.
We are proud to announce that in March 2007, Lumena obtained a Grade 2 Industrial Security Certificate, which acknowledges that the company has the capability to ensure the protection of classified information designated as “confidential” until March 26, 2014.
