"I notice may competencies and opportunities in the Company which will help us create advanced solutions for our Clients to give them a competitive edge on the dynamic markets," says the new Vice-Chairman.
Nomination of a new person to Lumena Management Board will close the process of personnel changes in the Company’s top management, which was initiated when Artur Smółko was dismissed from the position of Vice-Chairman of the Board in June 2008.
At present, the Board of Lumena SA comprises 5 persons: Tadeusz Browarek (Chairman of the Board), Anna Kochańska-Bernat (Vice-Chairman of the Board), Jolanta Malak (Vice-Chairman of the Board), Stanisław Leszczyński (Vice-Chairman of the Board) and Ewa Bomersbach-Skarżyńska (Member of the Board).
”In 2008, we managed to introduce many changes that came as a blessing for our company. We were half a year ahead of the changing trends in the global economy, when introducing the policy of moderateness and circumspection. At the same time, we managed to increase the company's sales and enhance the effectiveness by resigning from less profitable contracts. We also carried out dramatic cost cuts, including personnel costs, by making redundancies. Lumena is now better prepared to meet clients' expectations and withstand the competition. We anticipate increased interest in IT solutions among corporate clients who need to increase their effectiveness. Both financial data and the new Board make us look ahead into 2009 with optimism," – says Anna Kochańska-Bernat, Vice-Chairman of the Board responsible for financial and economic area of Lumena SA’s operations.
Lumena SA’s 2008 income was ca. PLN 237 million (compared to PLN 230 million in 2007).
